Black Forrest Christmas Gateau

This delicious cake is made in the traditional method with Kirsch (cherry liqueur), three tiers of delicious chocolate cake interspersed with Morello cherries and cream. However at Slowbreads we have given it a Christmas feel, applying dark chocolate triangles that stand up around the outside, echoing the fun and festivity of traditional Christmas party hats.
