Khorasan is one of the oldest known grains.  For people with wheat intolerances, it has a number of advantages over normal wheat, as it is extremely gentle to the digestive system. 

It has a rich buttery flavour and excellent texture and is packed with energy (the protein levels are 40% higher than that of normal wheat). It is also higher in dietary fibre, iron and folic acid and is rich in B-vitamins too. Khorasan is high in selenium and is 30% higher in vitamin E. It also contains up to 65% more amino acids as well as greater quantities of lipids and fatty acids.

It sounds like the only thing it doesn't do is wake you up in the morning with a cup of coffee!!
