Tarte di Santiago

Tarte di Santiago actually tastes like Christmas! We rub orange and lemon rind through the almondine, then add spices such as anise to give the filling of this delightful light tart, a truely festive taste. It is not overly sweet, but just sweet enough and could be paired with a berry (or maybe a boozy citrus coulis) with cream or ice-cream to finish.
